So there I was, sitting at my computer. My husband flipping the channels on the TV, and I was blogging about the day’s events. It was nothing about politics or world hunger, just little things about the whisperings of my heart and the people that occupy it.
I began blogging at the age of 15 during a rough time in my life. I'd like to think blogging has helped me cope with my emotions and feelings and somehow helped me become who I am today. -Sounds funny now that I actually type that thought out into words. But it's true... not only did it help me cope but I didn't want to forget. The sound of my sister and I laughing and singing in our perfect little girl voices. Those sounds now have faded and are replaced by text messages and 5 minute phone calls. Someday, it will be just me and my sweet husband and a new baby. As much as I know I will love that day, but I am determined to remember the ones in between. This is why I blog.
Shortly after I was engaged in 2009, I began researching for unique ideas...of course being the creative diva I am- I had tons of ideas but needed inspiration as they may call it. I found amazing websites from All of the United States from photographers in California to cake decorates in Michigan. I compiled photos from over 200 websites and printed them all out to help me bring my own vision to life.
Now, 2 years later... married and The Associate Publisher/Designer for one of the most unique, high-end wedding publications in Central Texas; I continuously am coming across one-of-a-kind weddings, inspirational ideas, great wedding vendors and Bridezilla stories that you'd never believe! With only being able to do so much in a wedding publication, I came up with the idea of combining my love for blogging and weddings and Weddings Unveiled was born!
